Privacy Policy

1. The short version

MyCloset is a local-first app. Your wardrobe, your photographs and your wear history are stored on your device and are never uploaded to us. There is no account, no sign-in and no server holding your clothes. We — Lucky Han Studio — cannot see any of it.

The one part of the app that talks to the internet is advertising, which is described in section 4.

2. What the app stores on your device

• Garments you add: the photograph, category, seasons, storage place, fabric, thickness, name and notes.
• Outfits you build, including where each garment sits on the canvas.
• Your wear history: which garments you wore on which day, any photograph you attach to it, and the wear counts derived from it.
• Storage places you create.
• App preferences, such as your theme choice and the wardrobe sort order.

All of this lives in the app’s private storage on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

3. Camera and photos

When you take a photograph inside the app, or pick one from your gallery, the image is copied into the app’s private storage and resized. That copy is what the app displays. We do not read your photo library beyond the specific image you choose, and no photograph is transmitted anywhere.

4. Advertising

The app shows advertising supplied by Google AdMob. To serve those ads, Google’s Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process device information, including your device’s advertising identifier, coarse location inferred from your IP address, and interaction with the ads themselves. That processing is carried out by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google’s privacy policy.

If you are in a region that requires it — including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — the app presents Google’s consent form before requesting any personalised advertising, using Google’s User Messaging Platform. You can reopen that form at any time from Settings → Ad privacy choices and change your answer.

You can also reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device’s own settings, under Google → Ads.

5. Analytics

The app contains no analytics SDK. We do not collect usage statistics, crash reports or any other telemetry.

6. Backup

Android’s own backup service may include the app’s data in your device backup if you have that turned on in your Google account. That backup is between you and Google; we have no access to it. You can turn it off in your device’s backup settings.

7. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Because the app collects nothing to begin with, there is nothing for us to delete — but if you have a concern, please contact us.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live — including the EEA and the UK under the GDPR, and California under the CCPA — you have rights of access, correction, deletion and objection over personal data held about you. Since we hold no personal data about you, the practical answer is that your data is already entirely in your own hands: it is on your device, and uninstalling the app removes it. For anything relating to advertising identifiers, use the consent form described in section 4 or your device’s ad settings.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version is published at this address with a new date at the top.
